RGS Surrey Hills School its a wonderful and friendly place to study and students never feel lost or overlooked, and different age groups are able to meet and mix. First time boarders are reassured by the family atmosphere of the Houses and find them easy to settle into.
Each student is assigned a personal tutor within their house – a member of teaching staff who supports their academic and pastoral development. There are a mix of ages within each tutor group which helps to promote friendship and responsibility.
Physical Education and Sports are central features of life for Surrey Hill students, which they experience through physical education lessons, the activities programme and competitive sport.
Performing Arts are very strong too. Over a quarter of the school’s pupils play at least one musical instrument. Wide range of instruments for tuition including violin, trumpet, piano, guitar and drums.
