Battle Abbey school is situated in the small village of Battle, the birth place of England.
Boarding at Battle Abbey is not leaving home but moving to a ‘home away from home’. Students live on the school site within the beautiful Abbey, which was constructed between the 12th and 16th century and it offers a unique educational, cultural and social experience.
The school has great strengths in both the creative and performing arts and encourages applications from pupils who wish to excel in Art, Textiles, Music, Drama or dance. We aim to develop confident young people ready for the next stage of their lives and studies. Academic results are placed in top positions in Kent and Sussex for GCSE results.
There is a full and varied programmed of weekend activities and visits for all boarders.
