The beautiful Somerset countryside is the setting for our academic, sporting and cultural programmes which enrich our girls and enable them to grow intellectually, think independently and become responsible and confident young women.
The Hall and Tutor Group system encourages the girls to form friendships across year groups, enhances their ability to relate to others and supports them as valued members of the school community.
Over half the school is studying a musical instrument and we have three choirs, two orchestras, a wind band, a flute group and several ensemble groups. School drama productions include girls of all ages and Inter-Hall competitions allow many less experienced girls to perform for an audience.
Bruton boarders come from a diverse range of backgrounds and nationalities. They travel not only from around the UK, but also from around the world, to be part of a community that supports and embraces them during their school years and for the rest of their lives.
