Leighton Park School is set in 60 acres of beautiful parkland near Reading. Just 30 minutes by train from Paddington station, students can take advantage of London’s cultural activities.

In the Sixth Form students are able to study A Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Life at the school is founded upon Quaker principles, which emphasise tolerance, peace and understanding, honesty and dialogue, and respect for others cultures. Students and staff come from all religious and non-religious backgrounds. This creates a real sense of community. The school has a long tradition of welcoming young people from many different countries and faiths, all of whom quickly feel at home here.

Within the five boarding houses, in which boarding and day pupils mix happily, great emphasis is placed upon pastoral care.

Many schools vaunt their ‘special atmosphere’ but at LP it’s tangible. It gives a renewed sense of hope for the future; it has integrity and honesty at heart.
